10 October 2016 Paul visited the Venice architecture biennale last weekend, themed ‘Reporting from the Front’. Many of the world’s nations exhibited on how architecture can influence or solve current world issues, ranging from housing crises to migrant populations, all very inspirational work, and a good excuse for an exotic long weekend. Also can report from the front that mosquitos in Venice will eat you in your sleep, even in the colder autumn months.
